The event was held at the Le Centrale building where Dr. Adolphe Mukarambo, a doctor and director at the La pluie irrigates humanity hospital in the Mbiza weather health zone in the commune of Ngaliema, was present. It was a great joy for the doctor to participate in this blood donation collection event organized by the NGO Zarina and its collaborators because they, as a hospital, are faced with the need for blood transfusions for various reasons, for example, women who have given birth, children who have complications from malaria, or other people who are undergoing chemotherapy, which lowers blood cells. For the doctor, his presence in this organization is first and foremost an object of gratitude to the NGO Zarina and its collaborators for organizing this collection, to the volunteer donors, and not forgetting the medical team who wanted to take part in this collection to finally make the blood available for the application.
The participation rate is very interesting because the medical team collected 104 blood bags, so 104 donors gave their blood.
The doctor clarifies that blood transfusions for patients are free, he does not expect payment because what he is giving is priceless, blood is life, it cannot be quantified in terms of value.
