About Us
Founded on the values of compassion, dignity, and hope, ZARINA is a non-governmental organization based in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We are committed to supporting the most vulnerable members of society. Our work spans the humanitarian, medical, educational, and social sectors, with a mission to improve the lives of those in greatest need.
What began as a personal and generous initiative by Maman Zarina Dhrolia in 2010 has grown into a structured organization thanks to the determination of her son, Sajjad Dhrolia, and the collaboration of Mrs. Zaheda Ramji. Together with five other founding members, they officially established the ZARINA NGO in 2017 to expand the impact of their humanitarian efforts.

The story of ZARINA NGO goes back to the selfless and consistent efforts of Maman Zarina Dhrolia, who, starting in 2010, worked tirelessly to help the most disadvantaged in the DRC, with the support of Mrs. Zaheda Ramji. Together, they assisted:
